NNIP, Swiss Re, Santander among TFDi Members Gearing up for ITFA Porto Conference

TFD Initiative members will take front stage at the upcoming ITFA conference taking place in Porto this year.

The 48th edition of the annual conference which commences on Wednesday 7th September will see the likes of Christoph Gugelmann, Founder and CEO of Tradeteq presenting one of the most advanced innovations in trade financing and blockchain, and offer banks a new way to apply Digital Asset technologies to trade distribution. The recent launch of the new TRADA token will feature high on the agenda of the Porto event.

On the same day, within the afternoon session, Jonathan Lonsdale, Head of Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Private Debt Mobilisation at Banco Santander and member of TFD Initiative will join the SCF panel focused on emerging markets. This will serve to highlight approved payables financing, which is one of the most attractive instruments to institutional investors active in the distribution space.

On ThursdaySeptember 8th, TFD Initiative members Suresh Hegde, Head ofStructured Private Debt at NN Investment Partners and Marilyn Blattner Hoyle, Global Head Trade Finance at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, will join the ESG panel focusing on the growing importance of ESG compliance for the credit insurance and asset management spaces.

Next, Nils Behling, Founder and CFO of Tradeteq, will join the Metaverse/NFT panel demonstrating how digital assets can bring a new option next to traditional repackaging and securitisation.

 

Finally, onFriday September 9th, three TFD Initiative members will join the asset management session and debate next steps for this growing space with moderator Clarissa Dann, Editorial Director of Marketing, Deutsche BankCorporate Bank:
